THE STORY & HISTORY OF BRITTINGHAM FARMS
Brittingham Farms is a fourth-generation, family-owned farm nestled in Millsboro, Delaware. Established in 1930 by Harold Mumford, the farm has deep roots in Southern Delaware, with the Brittingham family residing in the area since the Revolutionary War era. Originally a 350-acre grain farm producing corn and soybeans, the farm has evolved to embrace agritourism and specialty crops to remain viable in the modern era.

The association aims to establish standards of excellence, foster sustainable practices, and connect members across the country to strengthen the domestic lavender market.
